Samantha Carlson, PA-C
Samantha was born and raised in a small town, Franklin, about an hour north of Pittsburgh, PA. She received her Bachelor’s of Science degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA in 2010 and continued on to earn her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2011.
Immediately after graduation, Samantha worked at a family practice office in Pittsburgh. In 2013, Sam moved to New Bern, NC and started working in Emergency Department at CarolinaEast. She made the move south for their love of the warm weather, water activities, and beach life. Samantha enjoys spending her spare time with her two daughters outside near the water or by a fire. Her hobbies include boating, fishing, and exploring North Carolina with her daughters.
Samantha has been with our practice since 2018. She practices a patient-centered approach to every visit and is dedicated to the use of evidence-based medicine to make the best clinical decisions in order to provide the best possible outcomes. She enjoys getting to know her patients so that she can have a better understanding of their needs and medical care.
She is currently accepting new patients at the James City office.
