Misty Houston, FNP-C

Misty Houston is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of nursing experience. She graduated from CVCC in 2002 with an Associate Degree in Nursing and then completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Appalachian State University in 2015. After a few years of working as a Nurse, Misty decided to further her career. In 2020, she was an honor graduate from Gardner-Webb University with a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration as a Family Nurse Practitioner. As a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and with experience in both family practice and urgent care, Misty is passionate about helping patients reach optimal health and about providing education regarding their medical conditions by following a patient-centered approach.

Misty enjoys spending time with her husband and their son. She also enjoys watching sports and spending time at the beach.
Misty is accepting new patients and looks forward to helping her patients achieve their health goals.
