Kenneth Shank, D.O.

Dr. Kenneth D. Shank DO has been practicing medicine in the Stanly County and Albemarle area for 20 years. He was born in Goldsboro, North Carolina, and grew up in Central Pennsylvania. In 1987 he received a bachelor’s degree in social science from Penn State Harrisburg. In 1999 received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in family practice at the Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center in Binghamton New York and is board certified in family practice.
While in residence he received the James A Pollack pediatric Memorial award and the William B Clayton Senior resident award for scholarship in patient care.
Dr. Shank enjoys living in the Albemarle North Carolina area and caring for the people of Stanly County. He enjoys taking care of complex patients with multiple medical problems and helping to coordinate their care.
His outside interests include hiking, military history, missions, medicine, and religion.
