Katherine Blake, DNP, FNP-BC
Katherine Blake, DNP, FNP-BC, was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2009 and then her Master of Science to become a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2012. Katherine gained valuable experience working in the Emergency Department at Rush Oak Park Hospital in the Chicago area. Then, from 2017 until the end of 2023, she worked independently in the urgent care setting. Her passion for healthcare and helping others motivated her to further her healthcare knowledge, so she completed her Executive Doctor in Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at Johns Hopkins University in 2022. She moved to New Bern in early 2024 to be closer to her family.
Katherine enjoys an active lifestyle with her husband, traveling, and everything involving water. Katherine prides herself on providing efficient, patient-centered care, with a solid foundation in evidence-based medicine and a desire to help the community.
Katherine is happy to accept new patients over five years old and occupational medicine patients at the New Bern location.
