Kacy McDonough, FNP

Kacy started working in Information Technology and teaching college courses until she answered her true calling to join the medical field. She obtained her bachelor’s in nursing from UNC, Wilmington, and decided to further her medical career at Columbus State University, where she received her master’s degree in nursing.
Kacy is a family nurse practitioner with over 12 years of experience in the medical field. Her background is in emergency and critical care, and she has additional expertise in mental health, pediatrics, and dermatology. Her love of learning and evidence-based practice development motivates her to mentor new practitioners and guide former students to continue their career successes.
She enjoys boating on the Intracoastal waterway on her time off and playing with her golden retriever. She is the mother of two children, who have reached adulthood and are furthering their education in IT and Nursing.
She sees all ages in urgent care and family practice and looks forward to caring for you!
