James Burdette, PA-C

James Burdette, PA-C, is an Occupational Medicine provider who originally hails from Charleston, West Virginia. He graduated from American Military University with a degree in Sports and Health Sciences and obtained his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Charleston in 2020. After completing his professional education, James was commissioned in the United States Navy and served as a medical provider to the country’s servicemembers.
After accumulating over seventeen years of military service in various roles, including as an Aeromedical Evacuation Technician with the West Virginia Air National Guard, James discovered caring for the ill and injured to be a fulfilling and rewarding experience. This experience led him to decide to become a Physician Assistant.

As an occupational medicine provider, James knows that the livelihood and stability of his patients rests on keeping them healthy and safe in their workplace. Knowing this is just a part of what drives him to provide the utmost care and compassion for every patient he treats.

James resides in Onslow County, North Carolina, with his wife and three children. He enjoys working with his hands with different media and experiencing new activities with his family. He has a passion for reading and spends every night sharing this with his children.
