Enid M. Tallmer, PA-C

Enid M Tallmer was born and raised in Puerto Rico and has lived in the Raleigh area since 1995. Ms Tallmer received a Bachelor of Science from Fordham University and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Hunter College, City University of New York. After 17 years working in mental health settings as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), she enrolled and graduated from the Duke University Physician Assistant Program, receiving a Master of Health Science in 2005. As a Physician Assistant, Ms Tallmer is licensed by the NC Medical Board. She is a member of the American Academy and North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants. Her clinical interests include chronic disease prevention and management, the health issues of underserved populations, and the interface between physical and mental health. Ms Tallmer lives in Raleigh with her husband and four dogs. She enjoys gardening and music and is a member of St Paul’s Christian Church, where she is involved in mission and outreach.
