Corrie Hansen, FNP-C

Corrie Hansen is a board-certified family nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from East Carolina University, where she also graduated from the honors college.

Prior to obtaining her nurse practitioner degree, she was a charge nurse in the cardiothoracic intensive care unit at Duke University, where she worked for four years, taking care of patients after heart and lung surgery. Her critical care experience opened her eyes to the importance of health maintenance and quality care.

She is an experienced nurse practitioner who specializes in primary care, chronic disease management, minor conditions and injuries, preventative health, and quality improvement. She sees patients of all ages.

Outside of work, she enjoys participating in and coaching CrossFit, golfing, and spending time at the pool or beach.
