Bertha Taylor-Miller, FNP-C

Bertha Taylor-Miller began her career as a nurse working at Wilson Memorial Hospital and Hamlet Hospital. As a native of Duplin County, she was inspired to help fill the healthcare void in rural areas across the state so she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at East Carolina University and then graduated as a certified Nurse Practitioner in 2003 from a joint pilot program of Duke University and East Carolina University. Upon graduating, she began practicing medicine at Duplin Medical Center in Warsaw, NC. In 2005 she went on to found Carolina Coast Primary Medicine in Kenansville NC and then merged her practice with Med First and Immediate Care in 2016.
In 2018, Bertha moved to Moore County to be closer to her three granddaughters and opened a practice serving Aberdeen, NC. In 2023 for the second time, she merged her Aberdeen practice with Med First. Now as a part of the Med First family again, she looks forward to continue utilizing her more than 35 years of experience to provide results-based, compassionate healthcare to Aberdeen and surrounding communities.
