Liz Buno, PA-C
Ms. Buno grew up in the great state of Oklahoma and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Oklahoma in 1999 where she was a recipient of the Larason Public Service Scholarship. She worked as a medical social worker in a large medical center in Oklahoma City for 3 years before moving to North Carolina for PA school. She finished the Physician Assistant Program at Duke University in 2004, worked for Duke Cardiology until 2005, and then found her true calling in Family Practice in Roxboro where she has been practicing for the past 9 years. Liz enjoys all aspects of Family Practice but focuses on chronic disease management, Women’s Health, and minor dermatologic procedures. She is an Assistant Consulting Professor for the Duke University Physician Assistant program and serves as a clinical preceptor for Duke Physician Assistant students, Duke Medical students, and UNC Nurse Practitioner students. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family – cooking, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends.
