Kristin Austin, FNP-C
Kristin Austin is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Gardner-Webb University in 2011 and her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2016. She has experience working in Family Practice, Preventative Healthcare, and Telemedicine. Before becoming an Advance Practice Provider, she worked as a registered nurse in hospice and critical care. She has also served in overseas mission work and has volunteered for a mental-health non-profit.
Kristin strives to provide patients with compassionate, evidence-based care, with an emphasis on disease prevention and holistic care. One of her favorite things about being a healthcare provider is developing relationships with her patients and being an advocate in their health journey!
Kristin and her family relocated to Albemarle from Bostic, NC, in 2023. She is married and has two children. Her husband is a youth pastor at The Gathering in Albemarle, and they are both passionate about serving and mentoring younger generations.
Kristin loves playing piano and guitar, the outdoors, gardening, and spending time with her family.
She is looking forward to caring for patients in Albemarle, NC!
