Karika Watkins-Hill, PA-C
Karika was born in the Washington D.C area, resided and attended school in the Maryland region. She graduated from Bowie State University with a Bachelor’s of Science In Biology in 1999. Mrs. Hill spent a short time working for the National Institutes of Health as Research Associate while volunteering with Red Cross in the local area. She decided to give back to the underserved community as a science Educator teaching the LOVE of Science to the inner city and rural youth in the Maryland and North Carolina area for 6 years.
Karika received her Physician Assistant Certification in 2008 at AACC with current pursue of her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at University of Nebraska. Karika believes the combination of continuity of care and patient education is the very essence of good medicine. She has 6 years collectively working in the challenging but rewarding areas of Correctional and Pain Medicine, in addition to areas of Urgent and Primary care since 2010.
During her spare time, she enjoys traveling internationally, relaxing near waterfalls, listening to live bands, shopping and spending time with husband and family.
