Derrick Bieller, PA-C

Derrick Bieller is originally from Maine and attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE where he earned his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies in 2018.
Derrick completed Physician Assistant school in the Army and was stationed at Fort Polk, LA where he served as a Primary Care Manager for Soldiers and their family members. Once his military obligation at Fort Polk came to an end, and after 20 years of serving in the U.S. Army, Derrick and his family moved to Raleigh, NC.
Derrick has a variety of clinical experience including in Family Medicine, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Emergency Medicine, Psychiatry, General Surgery, and Inpatient Medicine. His practice philosophy emphasizes preventative measures and a healthy lifestyle, in addition to evidence-based medicine. He advocates for his patients and believes in the individualized patient care approach with appropriate patient education and counseling. Derrick is also passionate about the care of underprivileged patients and has volunteered as a medical practitioner at the Southwest Border, in Tunisia, and Ghana.
During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He also enjoys sports, outdoor activities, and volunteering as a coach and umpire.
